INSTALLING OFFICER:  I have the honor of now installing you who have been chosen as the Chapter Officers.  Yours will be an obligation to administer the Chapter’s affairs for the Society Year.  In taking this oath of office, you will answer the following questions in the affirmative by say “I will”: 

Will you conscientiously perform all the duties of your office as prescribed in the Bylaws of NCMS and the Bylaws of this Chapter? 

Will you at all times promote and protect the interests of NCMS, its Chapters, and its members? 

I do solemnly promise 
that I will faithfully and honorably, 
and to the best of my ability, 
discharge the duties of the office 
to which I have been elected 
in accordance with the Bylaws of  NCMS 
and the Channel Islands Chapter. 
This I freely pledge 
on my honor as a citizen 
of our United States of America.

INSTALLING OFFICER:  “Officers, you now occupy positions of honor, trust, and responsibility in NCMS.  You are the Chapter Executive Board and your duties are described in the Chapter Bylaws.  Study them well, for the harmony and progress of the Chapter and its affairs will depend to a great extent upon your leadership and the knowledge you impart to the members.  I now declare the Officers of the Channel Islands Chapter regularly installed and I heartily congratulate all of you.  (Lead the assembly in a round of applause.) 

INSTALLING OFFICER:  Madam/Mister Chairperson, I now convey the Charter of this Chapter to you.  As Chairperson, you are personally responsible for its safekeeping.  It is to be delivered to your successor in office when that time comes.  Officers, you may now take your seats.
